MULTIPLAY is a small, exclusive music festival that combines an intimate atmosphere with an extraordinary selection of electronic music. It caters to explorers and connaisseurs seeking musical depth and diversity. The organizers create connections – between music styles, artists, and guests – thus fostering a continuously evolving and high-quality network – a place to find treasures!

Size

Quality over quantity: The festival is intentionally small, with a limited number of participants (max. 500 visitors). This creates a familial and personal atmosphere where interactions are at the center.

Concept

The festival appeals to music lovers and curious minds eager to dive into new and sophisticated sounds. A curated program focuses on electronic and danceable music, with an emphasis on high sound quality.

In addition, interactive, creative, and artistic elements will complement the experience visually and in a playful way. “Come with me and listen” is the guiding principle, creating spaces and moments that radiate warmth and tranquility, contributing to a more mindful musical experience.

The musical programme is carefully curated by an experienced team:

  • International Headliners: Renowned artists who impress with their originality and depth. Thanks to years of experience in event management and collaborations with well-established partners like the Freerotation Festival in Wales, the team has access to a wide network.
  • National DJs: MULTIPLAY also serves as a networking hub for high-quality and exciting DJs from various regions and cities of Switzerland.
  • Diversity: In addition to danceable music, the festival also offers listening sessions for quieter, experimental, and introspective sounds.

MULTIPLAY stands for listening, for friendship, for respect and caring for the other and all things around us.
MULTIPLAY aims to create a safe and inclusive environment with focus on being aware, sensitive, and friendly with the goal to have a good time, serious fun, and inspiring experiences. Our principles are:

  • Respect each others boundaries and living realities at any time. Please!
  • Consent is a must – only a clear yes means yes
  • Discrimination, harassment, violence and abusive behaviour are not tolerated.
  • Please take care for each other. Ask people if you think they might need help!
  • Be kind and reflect yourself from time to time

Unique Location

The festival takes place at the Palace in Scuol, a special location surrounded by nature, mountains, forests, and a river. The environment creates a magical and inspiring atmosphere – a powerful place in the truest sense. The journey itself adds to the experience and heightens anticipation. The venue is easily accessible by public transport. 

Scuol Palace is a magical, historic hotel from the 19th century. Please look after it as lovingly as you would your own home. 

Sustainability and Community

Sustainability is a core value of the festival:

  • Ecological Responsibility: The festival focuses on waste reduction and the use of reusable materials. Decorations and equipment are made from recycled elements, often reused from other events to conserve resources.
  • Local Partnerships: Collaboration with regional producers and service providers for food, beverages, and equipment.
